Parlor Guitars

Parlor guitars are the smallest model I make.  Historically popular for playing in homes ("parlors"), these guitars have a narrow waist, compact size, and a 12th-fret neck joint.  They are great for finger picking with a tone that's great for folk, blues, and songwriting.  You don't have to be small to love a small guitar!

The images below show some of the recent parlor guitars I have made as well as some of the unusual woods used to craft these lovely instruments.

Parlor Specs:

Body Length: 19 3/16”

Overall Length: 38 ½”

Lower Bout Depth: 4 ⅛”

Lower Bout Width: 13 ⅛”

Width at Waist: 7 ⅞”

Upper Bout Depth: 3”

Upper Bout Width: 9 ⅜”

Soundhole Diameter:  3 ⅝”

Scale Length: 24.75"

Fingerboard Width at Nut: 1 11/16” or 1 3/4"
