Rosewood Parlor Guitar with Sitka Spruce Top Built in 2000 - $2900

This is a great fingerpicking guitar with a rich, full sound and beautiful decoration.

Originally built in 2000. I replaced the neck in 2023.  The neck is attached with a dovetail joint, and this guitar does not have a truss rod. See additional pictures below.



Body Type: Parlor-12 Frets to the body

Top: Sitka Spruce

Back and Sides: East Indian Rosewood

Neck: Mahogony

Fingerboard and Bridge: Ebony 

Saddle and Nut: Bone 

Sound hole Diameter:  3 ½”

Scale Length: 24.75"

Width at Nut: 1 ¾” 

Width at 12th Fret: 2 ⅛” 

Back Inlay: Zipper Stripe

Heel Cap: Rosewood

Top and Back Binding: Ivoroid

Top Purfling: Abalone w/BWB strips

Rosette: WBW Strips w/Abalone Center

Fingerboard Inlay: Abalone diamonds

Side Dots: Abalone

Finish: Hand rubbed satin shellac

Tuning Machines: Inline Waverly

    Unique OO with Plum Back and Sides and European Spruce Top Built in 2024 - $3500

    In addition to great beauty, this guitar has power - it's great for strumming, flatpicking or finger picking, and has a rich, full sound, very strong bottom tones, and beautiful decoration.  The back and sides are plum, which is rarely available in large enough size to make a guitar.

    The neck on this guitar is slender, especially at the first few frets.  Perfect for someone who likes a thin neck but probably not for you if you prefer a fat neck.  See additional pictures below.
